Pranam Singh is an acclaimed artist of portraiture, and fine figurative painter of men and women in a certain landscape. He captures the mood of the landscape, as well as the vivid, varied moods of his figures with a sensitivity, and dexterity, putting all his skills to the tune of the lines and colors. It is sheer joy to see his portraits, and his figures, vibrating with the inner emotions and the gaze, which takes us to an altogether different realm of the inner and outer reality. But the works presented here tell a different story, and come as a surprise to perhaps all of his admirers and discerning viewers.

We will notice certain predominant colors, their patches, and gradations, like of the reds, playing a major role here, yet the subdued colors and submerged color areas, equally draw our attention. The content of these sensitive works, communicates itself directly, and we simply are in a mood to celebrate the gestures, and the movements of the hues and lines. These vibrant and rich renderings by the artistes, of his inner journey, and his explorations in pictorial space, are a treat to the eyes and mind.
