Darwin's monkey has become a man - a new enlightened man who has invented gadgets and explored the cosmos and mastery of technology yet he is not wise enough to outsmart his shortcomings and hence he remains equivalent to the monkey no matter how many boundaries of knowledge he conquers.
Man is capable of exploring the world of knowledge, empowering himself with worldly intelligence and glowing in enlightenment yet the chances of becoming wise are bleak sometimes. The jealousy, greed, lust, anger, pride and witnessing the other destructive emotions in human beings, is he still a monkey or let him be the monkey he is. This fallacy is questioned by the artist through ‘monkey enlightened’.
