Pandurang Tathe

Pandurang Tathe lectured at the Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya in Pune, the same institution from which he received his Government Diploma in painting in 1984.
This popular artist has exhibited his brilliant works at many shows in Mumbai, including his first solo show at the Jehangir Art Gallery in 1991, and at shows in Chennai, Pune, Delhi. Beginning his career as an abstractionist, today Tathe has successfully moved to figurative painting too. He has widely participated in art events, like camps and workshops, in India as well as other countries. His works are a part of many collections both in India and abroad. He continues to be one of the acclaimed abstractionists of his generation, his strokes and hues weave a story for each observer to unfold.
